Tix Signs on with Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach announced today that Tix, whose headquarters are in Long Beach, has signed on as an Official Sponsor and ticketing services provider for the event.

Tix is a leading provider of integrated box office software and online ticket sales and services for arts, entertainment and sporting events. Tix specializes in providing integrated turn-key services for online and box office ticket sales and administration. Tix's features include private label branding, online seat selection, seat view, and print-at-home ticketing to benefit the customer's experience, increase attendance, and minimize costs.

Tickets for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, which will run April 15-17, 2011 and feature six races including the IZOD IndyCar Series, will go on sale Tuesday, October 12. Tickets can be purchased from the Grand Prix ticket office by calling toll-free at (888) 82-SPEED or by using the Tix service at www.gplb.com.

The famed Long Beach race circuit, which includes the downtown streets of Long Beach surrounding the Long Beach Entertainment and Convention Center, is 1.97 miles in length and includes 11 turns. Grandstands lining the circuit include reserved seating, limited general admission seats, and seating for various hospitality club ticket packages.

Admission prices for Friday through Sunday start at $26 for a Friday-only general admission ticket to $130 for a three-day ticket, which includes Saturday and Sunday reserved seating on upper levels of the grandstands.
