Sutil fined for pit lane speeding

Sutil caught speeding on pit road

Adrian Sutil and Force India have been fined after the German was recorded travelling at an illegal speed in the Yeongam pit lane in Saturday’s qualifying session.

The infraction of sporting regulations took place just one minute into Q1, when the Force India was clocked at a speed of 108.9 kilometers per hour (67.6mph).

As a consequence, a fine of 1,800 euros (1,600 pounds) has been imposed by the FIA stewards.
