Phenomenal Forecast for Ford Championship Weekend
With Homestead-Miami Speedway annually selling tickets to fans in over a dozen countries and all 50 states, a global NASCAR fan base is set to enjoy Ford Championship Weekend in temperatures ranging from 65 degrees to 81 degrees under the Florida sunshine. All three of NASCAR’s premier racing circuits—the Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series—will crown Champions in South Florida. Parking is FREE at Homestead-Miami Speedway all weekend, and fans can bring their own food and drink into the Speedway in a cooler not to exceed 14x14x14 inches.
In addition to the beautiful weather forecast throughout the weekend for NASCAR’s Championship finales Friday, Saturday and Sunday, fans can enjoy pre-race entertainment by KC and the Sunshine Band, a national anthem set to be performed by former Poison front-man Bret Michaels, and exclusive driver appearances scheduled to include Danica Patrick, South Florida resident Juan Pablo Montoya, two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip, three-decade fan-favorite Mark Martin and more. The event lineup and all details are available at HomesteadMiamiSpeedway.com.
