Helio buys a condo in Ft. Lauderdale
The 35-year-old Team Penske IndyCar Series driver owns a spread in Fort Lauderdale at the Las Olas Beach Club oceanfront condos. He relocated from Miami last year and lives with his girlfriend, Adriana Henao, and their 1-year-old daughter.
The condo isn’t listed in property records under Castroneves’ name or Henao’s name. Merrill Cain, spokesman for Penske Racing, said he didn’t know how much Castroneves paid. Units in the complex listed for sale range from about $800,000 to $4 million.
Cain said Castroneves wasn’t available for an interview, but Cain did send us this:
“I love living here," Castroneves said. “It’s a beautiful location with great amenities. We are right across from the beach and we have great restaurants and shopping all around us. It’s almost like you’re on vacation, even when you’re at home. I travel a lot on the IndyCar circuit so I always look forward to coming home."
