Ducati signs sponsorship deal with Diesel

The Ducati team has announced a link-up with Italian fashion company Diesel ahead of the 2011 season, with multiple World Champion Valentino Rossi joining fellow title winner Nicky Hayden this year. The deal means that Diesel's logos will be seen on the bikes and race suits of the pairing throughout the 2011 season.

“I've always been a Ducati fan," comments Diesel founder Renzo Rosso. “I've been following them over the years and I currently drive a Monster S4R testastretta and a Streetfighter. I am proud of the appreciation that the brand has gained all over the world, both in terms of design and performance.

“This season in particular is extraordinary and with the arrival of Valentino Rossi the association between our brands is perfectly in-line with our 'Only the Brave' Philosophy!"
