Annual Winter Test offering preview of 2011 ALMS season

Ferrari’s newest GT challenger follows on the tremendous success of the F430 GT. Extreme Speed Motorsports will have two F458s at the Winter Test with Risi Competizione running a single 458 alongside an F430.
The GT entry for the test is filled with a number of auto manufacturers – GM/Corvette, Porsche, Ford and Ferrari – along with tire manufacturers Michelin, Falken and Dunlop.
There also a number of new names to the Series. They include Performance Tech Motorsports and CORE autosport in LMPC, along with JDX Racing and Kelly Moss Motorsports in GT Challenge, which all are running on Yokohama tires.
Additional entries are expected in the coming days. ALMS entries will be on track from 8 a.m. to noon ET both days.
Tickets are $10 per day with no paddock admission or overnight camping.
The first race for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n is the 59th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida on Saturday, March 19. The race, set for 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 19, will be shown in its live and in its entirety on ESPN3.com and americanlemans.com.
