Tommy Baldwin Racing, Blaney to compete in 16 Cup races

Tommy Baldwin Racing and driver Dave Blaney will compete in no less than 16 races with its No. 36 Chevrolet during the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the team said. Owner Tommy Baldwin explained that the team will continue to look for sponsorship but will contest 16 events with or without it.

NASCAR veteran and returning team driver Dave Blaney gets behind the wheel, beginning with the Daytona 500 next month.

“I am very excited to get back into the No. 36 Chevrolet," Blaney said. “TBR ended the year with great promise and rebuilt their fleet of cars in the off-season. With that and our previous experience together, I think we will hit the ground running."
