Takuma Sato has heavy heart |
Former Formula One driver Takuma Sato is back for his second race at Barber this year. But his thoughts are back in his native Japan as it reels from a catastrophic earthquake and tsunami.
Sato, who is from Tokyo, said his family and friends are OK.
"My heart at the moment is in Japan. I'm thinking of them," he said. "It's very hard to watch and listen to."
He said that growing up in Japan he has lived through hundreds of quakes but nothing like the quake that struck last week.
