2011 Pirelli World Challenge Championships TV Broadcast Schedule Announced

WC Vision today announced the TV broadcast schedule for the 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Championships that will air on VERSUS. All 12 races will be broadcast in either 90-minute or two-hour programs airing in Saturday or Sunday afternoon timeslots.

The broadcasts will have high-quality production values, and renowned motorsports announcers Greg Creamer and Calvin Fish will be providing color commentary and feature segments with behind-the-scenes footage. Series information will also be included on www.versus.com. Now in more than 76 million homes, VERSUS is the cable television home of the NHL, IZOD IndyCar Series, Tour de France and Professional Bull Riders. VERSUS also airs NASCAR, NBA, UFC, college football and college basketball programming.

The 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Championships television schedule has been set as follows:

Streets of St. Petersburg (Rounds 1 and 2)
Saturday, April 9 at 4:30 p.m.

Streets of Long Beach (Round 3)
Saturday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m.

Miller Motorsports Park (Round 4) / Mosport International Raceway (Rounds 5 and 6)
Saturday, June 18 at 3 p.m.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Rounds 7 and 8)
Saturday, August 20 at 5 p.m.

Infineon Raceway (Rounds 9 and 10)
Sunday, September 18 at 3 p.m.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (Round 11) / Road Atlanta (Round 12)
Saturday, October 29 at 1 p.m.
