Gehl Returns As Sponsor of Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
Grand Prix construction crews are using powerful Gehl equipment to help move and position the 1,800 concrete dividers and other equipment necessary to build the 1.97-mile street circuit. During race weekend, Gehl equipment will be involved in removing any crashed or disabled cars from the race circuit.
“We’re happy to continue our long-standing relationship with America’s #1 Street Race," said Lori Heidecker, Gehl’s Marketing Manager, “and proud that our equipment is used not only to build the race course but to ensure safe, smooth-flowing racing all weekend long."
“Gehl equipment is critical to the success of virtually every stage of our event," said Jim Michaelian, president and CEO of the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach. “The amount of heavy material that must be moved before, during and after race weekend makes it imperative the equipment we use be dependable and versatile. For 19 years, the answer to those needs has been Gehl."
