Webber wants KERS sorted
Mark Webber wants Red Bull Racing to fix its KERS problems, with the championship-leading squad having encountered more issues with the power-boosting system in Shanghai on Friday. In Malaysia last Sunday, the Australian lost a large amount of ground due to failure of the device off the start line.
“I didn’t have the best P2, particularly on the short run with the new tires, which is why my time is down a little, but the long run on the Option (Soft compound) tire was good," Webber explained in China.
“We’ll look at KERS tonight – we’d like to run it this weekend of course. Generally it was a good Friday – we learned a lot and the car was reliable."
