Goodyear reschedules tire tests for Indy, Kentucky

A Goodyear tire test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway originally scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday prior to this week's Richmond race has been rescheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday because of a forecast of bad weather.

Another Goodyear tire test, slated for May 17 test at Kentucky Speedway, has been moved to June 1 while upgrades to the track, including to the backstretch inside wall, are completed.

The drivers originally scheduled for both tests are tentatively scheduled to test on the new dates.

Testing at Indianapolis will be Wood Brothers Racing’s Trevor Bayne, Penske Racing’s Brad Keselowski, Richard Childress Racing’s Paul Menard, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing’s Juan Pablo Montoya and Michael Waltrip Racing’s Martin Truex Jr.

Testing at Kentucky will be MWR’s David Reutimann, Penske’s Kurt Busch, Roush Fenway Racing’s Greg Biffle, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Joey Logano, RCR’s Kevin Harvick and Front Row Motorsports’ Travis Kvapil.
