Milwaukee race facing ticket sales challenge

The Milwaukee race in 2010 drew a respectable crowd

The June Sprints at Road America are the same weekend as the IndyCar race in Milwaukee this year, some two hours south. Just something else for race fans to do and may effect attendance at the IndyCar race. Milwaukee should have been scheduled the week after Indy, like it was historically. Instead Eddie Gossage and TMS got the rights to have the race following Indy when Milwaukee dropped off the calendar, but they refused to move it to the week directly after Indy, which is now an open week. How smart was that?
