Five-place grid penalty for Bianchi in Monaco

Jules Bianchi

Jules Bianchi has been docked five places on the grid for the first GP2 race of the weekend in Monaco, with stewards awarding the penalty following his first lap incident with Giedo van de Garde at the Circuit de Catalunya last Sunday.

The Lotus ART driver was deemed to have caused the collision with van der Garde at the start of the Sprint Race, leaving both men out of the race and earning himself a visit to the hospital for precautionary medical checks.
