Superleague Formula Nations Cup available in over 400m TV households

The Superleague Formula Nations Cup today announced that it has concluded a number of broadcast deals, which will see the championship available in over 400m homes worldwide for the 2011 season.

The agreements will see coverage of the series, both live and delayed, in over 180 territories from major European markets to countries as far apart as the Americas, Asia, Oceania and Africa.

The series will also stream races live via its own website www.superleagueformula.com and also through a number of online partnerships.

The innovative race production is fully produced by Endemol Sport. The live package includes two 40 minute races, separated by a 20 minute gap, in which the broadcasters will have full live access to the drama and emotion of the pit garages as crews and drivers prepare for the second race.

At the conclusion of the second race the top eight points-scoring drivers taking to the track for a five lap sprint Super Final race with €250,000 prize money to race for.

The Superleague Formula Nations Cup gets underway at Assen in Holland this weekend and will feature races in Belgium, Russia, Brazil, China, the Middle East and New Zealand*
