Downpour stops Canadian GP

The Canadian Grand Prix was red-flagged on lap 25 on Sunday after heavy rain and standing water made it too dangerous to continue.

A major downpour half an hour into the grand prix forced the FIA to red flag the race.

Sebastian Vettel dominated the early part of the race, while McLaren teammates Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button crashed into each other on lap 8. Hamilton hit the pit wall forcing him out of the race.
