Second season DTM win and points’ lead for Martin Tomczyk

Martin Tomczyk

Martin Tomczyk (Audi) has won the fourth DTM season round at Lausitzring. Having started from fourth place, the German crossed the finish line as the winner after 52 laps at the 3.478 kilometers long track.

With his second season win after his earlier success at Spielberg in Austria a fortnight ago, the 29-year old is taking over the lead in the points’ standings with 30 points.

In second place, Timo Scheider completed the 1-2 for Audi. Bruno Spengler (Mercedes-Benz) completed the podium at Lausitz.

In the drivers’ standings after four rounds, the French-Canadian is now second, one point behind Tomczyk.
