Dover spring race moving back to June in 2012

The spring race at Dover International Speedway will return to its traditional post-Coca-Cola 600 slot on the Sprint Cup schedule in 2012. This season's event was held May 15, a week prior to the All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Next year's spring race festivities at Dover will be held June 1-3, 2012.

The spring weekend will feature the Truck Series, Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series.

The fall race weekend will be held on Sept. 28-30, 2012, and will again be part of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. It will feature the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series.
