Trulli denies eyeing Le Mans switch for 2012

(GMM) Jarno Trulli on Saturday denied suggesting 2011 could be his last season in formula one.

The Italian veteran told La Gazzetta dello Sport this week he is not enjoying this season with Team Lotus and "could have a look around" outside of F1 for the future.

His former boss Eddie Jordan on Saturday asked the 36-year-old if it is true Trulli has ruled out IndyCar but thinks Le Mans could be a good option for 2012.

"To be honest I never said that," the veteran of approaching 250 grands prix said on British television BBC. "Someone just came up with that opinion.

"I've never really investigated it and I don't even know how Le Mans works, to be honest.

"(It's just) speculation," continued Trulli. "I was actually just complaining about my power steering rather than anything else."
