Green Becomes CEO of IMS Productions

Mobile television industry executive Robby Greene has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of IMS Productions, the rapidly growing, Indianapolis-based mobile television production/post-production company which counts ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, VERSUS and CBC among its large, diverse client base.

"We are very pleased with the contributions that Robby has made to the business growth of IMS Productions over the last three years and are even happier that he has accepted the role of president and COO," said Jeff Belskus, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation president and chief executive officer. "Robby's understanding of the industry and commitment to growth through providing clients the highest-quality products and services will continue to position IMS Productions as a top live broadcast facilities provider and post-production company in the country."

Greene, who started with the company in early 2008 as its business development director, most recently served as vice president and general manager, where he has planned and administered significant strategies through a core business transition in the last two years.

"For so long, IMS Productions was known for its production of the world-famous Indianapolis 500 and the IZOD IndyCar Series races, and that was the vast majority of its business," Greene said. "But today, we have grown the company to the point that the '500' and INDYCAR are among many in our book of business, and we continue to add national clients to our portfolio on a regular basis."

IMS Productions provides mobile production services to ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, VERSUS and CBC.

Greene has helped grow IMS Productions' portfolio to include work for events such as the U.S. Open golf tournament at Pebble Beach, NBA All-Star Game, Breeders Cup, "Hockey Night in Canada," NFL, NBA, MLB, Mecum auto auctions and the exclusive rights holder to the 30-week Professional Bull Riders, including the World Finals in Las Vegas.

"If it's live sports, we do it and do it well," Greene said. "But we also do significant work in other areas, from streaming a presentation for the latest medical release to an hour-long documentary, to the production of nationally televised commercials that have been completely produced within our studios."

Other IMS Productions clients include work for Subway, Sony, H.H. Gregg, Toyota, Ingersoll-Rand, Firestone, PVH and dozens of local and regional clients. In addition to live television, full-service, in-house studios and satellite uplink capabilities, IMS Productions offers its clients the flexibility of a using an AVID or final-cut post-production editing system.

Greene, originally from Louisiana, where he attended Louisiana State University, has 15 plus years of experience in radio and television and has spent several years with media giants Clear Channel and Cumulus in executive positions. Greene lives in Indianapolis with his wife and two daughters.
