DYSON, BMW VICTORIOUS AT HOME: Dyson Racing's G-Oil backed Mazda took the overall victory in the intense American Le Mans Series Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park, and BMW Team RLL extended its winning streak to three races at the manufacturer's home venue. ROGERS SPORTSNET TO CARRY ALMS LIVE IN CANADA: The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n has reached an agreement with Rogers Sportsnet to carry six of the Series' remaining 2011 races live in Canada. The live broadcast schedule will continue with the upcoming Mobil 1 Presents the Grand Prix of Mosport next weekend.
AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES TAKES OVER TORONTO’S YONGE-DUNDAS SQUARE: A trip to Mosport means it’s Racefest time! Come meet the stars and cars of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 20 at Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. Attendees include Muscle Milk Aston Martin Racing and driver Klaus Graf, Corvette Racing and Canadian racing legend Ron Fellows, plus the NameSilo Autocon Lola AER Turbo LMP1 with another of Canada’s finest: Tony Burgess. Locals Ken Wilden and Kyle Marcelli will also join the festivities. After getting an autograph or two, watch as Muscle Milk and Corvette perform pit stop demonstrations right in the middle of downtown Toronto. Don’t be surprised if there aren’t a few goodies being handed out as well… See you at the square!
AUTOCON AND PANOZ READY FOR MOSPORT: Autocon Motorsports tested for two days last week at Miller Motorsports Park and pronounced its Lola-AER prototype ready for a return to the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n. Chris McMurry and Canadian Tony Burgess will split time in the familiar orange LMP1 in next week’s Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport. Autocon's new sponsor NameSilo recently announced a unique promotion which allows customers to put their name or domain name on the actual race car. In similar news, Team Panoz announced the addition of Edward Sandstrom to the driver lineup for the team's return to the GT ranks of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n.
