Good Sam sponsors Pocono Nascar races
Though financial terms of the agreement were not released, typically track naming rights for a Sprint Cup Series race sell for US$1.5 million to US$3 million, while Good Sam’s sponsorship of the Camping World Truck Series race is estimated to be worth a low six-figure sum.
“We are proud to partner with the Pocono Raceway for the Nascar Camping World Truck Series and Nascar Sprint Cup races," said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and chief executive of Camping World & Good Sam. “This is a great opportunity to sponsor the race weekend and to expose race goers to our broad selection of camping and tailgating products, which will be available at the raceway at our on-site Camping World stores."
“It is an honor and a privilege for Pocono Raceway to partner with Good Sam, the industry leader when it comes to RV products and services," said Brandon Igdalsky, president, Pocono Raceway. “The RV locations at the track will be filled with Good Sam members. Our race fans will also have the availability to see new camping and tailgating products."
The races will take place on the 6th and 7th August at the Pennsylvania-based track.
