NASCAR’s Kyle Busch wins Oxford 250
Kyle Busch didn’t take a weekend off because there wasn’t a NASCAR Sprint Cup race on that schedule. Instead, he competed at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway, winning not only a Pro Stock support race but the TD Bank Oxford 250 as well, much to the chagrin of the other short track racers who consider this particular event their “Daytona 500″! Busch carted out 25 G’s plus another $6,800 in lap money from that state. The OPS short track had expected entries from seven states and two Canadian Provinces, but certainly not Busch.
