Spa F1 tickets selling well

Ticket sales for this year’s Belgian Grand Prix are progressing well, with all grandstand seats now sold out according to organizers. However, fans can still ensure their place at the iconic venue later this month, as a selection of standing spots remain available.

According to race director Andre Maes, a total of 38,000 tickets have already been sold for the race, adding that he expects the event to top its 2010 spectator total of 55,000.

Maes believes there will be an increase of 10,000 visitors as a result of home favorite Jérôme d'Ambrosio, explaining: "Jerome has definitely had a positive effect on ticket sales. In 2012 there will be more visitors as he will be even more famous by then."
