Lorenzo to race in Massa’s charity event
The double-header race has been scheduled for 3-4 December and is expected to attract a huge number of top drivers from several international and local series. Formula 1 rookies Pastor Maldonado and Sergio Perez have been also mentioned by Massa as potential new names to be added to his list. "Adrian (Sutil) also showed great interest in the event", explained the Brazilian ace. Two-time champion Michael Schumacher will miss the race. "There is a clash of dates with the Race of Champions, so he will not come." Massa is optimistic about convincing some other F1 fellows to remain in the country as the last race of the calendar is exactly the Brazilian GP.
Rubens Barrichello, Bruno Senna, Lucas di Grassi and IndyCar representatives Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves and Bia Figueiredo are also supposed to come back to Florianopolis late the season.
