Chinese driver to get another shot at IndyCar

Ho-Pin Tung will get another chance to make his IZOD IndyCar Series debut when he rejoins the Dragon Racing outfit at Infineon Raceway, August 26-28.

The Dutch/Chinese driver drove for the Jay Penske-owned team during the month of May, but failed to qualify after crashing during his four-lap run.

"You'll see us testing [Thursday] at Sonoma with Ho-Pin Tung and he'll race for us there," said Penske. "And then Paul [Tracy] will be in the car at Las Vegas."

Tracy confirmed his appearance with Dragon for the IndyCar finale.

"We had Sonoma on the board with Dragon," he said, "but we switched it around so now I'll do 'Vegas and Ho-Pin will be in the car [at Sonoma]." SPEEDTV.com
