Video: Sneak Peek at Ferrari 458 Spider

Ferrari has released a video of its 458 Spider ahead of its public début in Frankfurt next week. Although the Ferrari 458 Spider is due for its public unveiling in Frankfurt in just a few days’ time, the car has been unveiled to members of the press in the Italian marque’s hometown of Maranello.

While the 458 Spider is pretty much identical to the coupe under the skin, it does feature a lightweight folding aluminum roof. Ferrari reckons it has a few benefits for the car, not least of which is the fact that it weighs 25kg less than a rag-top would. It also retracts quicker, with the roof needing just 14 seconds to go from open to closed and vice versa.
