Kubica set for driving return in October

(GMM) Robert Kubica could be back at the wheel in the next month.

The injured Pole's manager Daniele Morelli told reporters at Monza that he no longer has "any concerns" about Kubica's recovery in the wake of his latest surgery.

"It's good news," added the Italian. "The nerves must complete their recovery. But it's just a question of time."

Morelli said that in October "we think he can put on a helmet to give a message on what he can do".

He added that Kubica, seriously injured in a February rally crash, will likely give that message "in a simulator or a road car".

And "Renault have given us assurances that there is a (F1) seat (on reserve) for Robert."
