Pagenaud/Bourdais put Peugeot on pole at Silverstone

Simon Pagenaud, who is teamed with fellow IndyCar Frenchman Sebastien Bourdais, put their Peugeot on pole position for the AUTOSPORT 6 Hours of Silverstone in tricky qualifying conditions.

Spots of rain threatened at the start of the session, that saw Pagenaud and Sarrazin trade fast times in the #7 and #8 Peugeots, before Pagenaud laid down a 1m43.943s effort.

Allan McNish in the #2 Audi R18, was nine tenths behind Pagenaud in 2nd.

Rain then fell and effectively bringing the session to a premature end.
