Iowa to run two NASCAR Truck races in 2012

The Iowa Speedway says it's added a second NASCAR Trucks series race for next season.

The track released its 2012 schedule Saturday, which includes truck races on July 14 and Sept. 15.

The NASCAR Nationwide series will visit Iowa's short oval on May 20 and Aug. 4. The IndyCar series will make its annual stop on June 23.

IndyCar CEO Randy Bernard told The Associated Press earlier this summer that the series was discussing a possible doubleheader in Iowa. But track officials say they don't yet have any information on a possible second date.
