Light rain possible for Singapore GP
Light rain is a possibility for all three days of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, with practice due to start before sunset on Friday before the fourth Formula 1 night race begins at 8pm local time on Sunday.
A tough working weekend is in prospect for all involved, with ambient temperatures only expected to vary between 26 and 31°C (79-88°F) over the course of a day. Saturday is forecast to be the hottest, although Sunday should be the clearer night in terms of cloud cover.
Although rain has always been a fear at the floodlit event, showers are yet to affect proceedings at the race which debuted on the F1 calendar in 2008.
