NASCAR shrine posts 4th straight month of attendance declines

The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority today reported the August attendance for the NASCAR HOF was 16,703, down 29% from 23,539 the previous year and "the fourth consecutive month, year-over-year attendance has declined." Comparable attendance for the months of May, June and July this year "fell 30 percent or more below the 2010 totals."
