Wheldon killed in IndyCar accident

Popular IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon was killed in a serious 15-car accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this time of deep sorrow. We were at Fontana when Greg Moore was fatally injured in the final CART IndyCar oval race of the year bring back very sad memories and the reminder of how dangerous and costly it is to race open wheel cars on high banked tracks built for NASCAR. We recall the horrible sadness and knot in our gut back then and it wasn't any easier this time. See more on home page.
