Indian driver to test Indy Lights with Jensen

Jensen MotorSport is pleased to announce that Armaan Ebrahim will join the team for the Indy Lights official series test at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway scheduled for October 28th and 29th. Ebrahim has an extensive resume of racing experience, which includes competition in the Formula 2, Formula BMW, and GP2 series.

While the Formula One World Championship competes in the inaugural Indian Grand Prix this weekend, the 22 year old Ebrahim will make the long trek from Chennai India to Indianapolis in order to participate in his first IndyCar sanctioned event as he transitions his race car driving career to the USA for the 2012 season and beyond.

Team owner Eric Jensen states, “India is an interesting market for everyone involved in the global motorsport industry. With a population more than 3 times greater than the United States, India offers enormous potential to corporate sponsors. We are excited that Armaan and his supporters have chosen Jensen MotorSport, and we look forward to achieving success together both on and off track."

All three levels in the Mazda Road to Indy development ladder will have on-track sessions during the Indianapolis Motor Speedway official test. On-track action begins at 9 am daily, and the test is open to the public.
