Rain washes out NASCAR qualifying in M’Ville

Roush Fenway Racing teammates Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth will start first and second, respectively, in the Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville.

Rain on Saturday forced officials to cancel qualifying for the 33rd race of the season for the Sprint Cup Series, leaving officials to set the lineup per the rule book. It is the third race of the season that has been canceled. Rain also washed out qualifying at Dover and Kentucky earlier this year.
