The annual Industry Roundtable is one of a variety of events open to attendees of the 24th Annual PRI Trade Show, which will run from Dec. 1-3 in Orlando. There is no cost for credentialed attendees.
FOX and SPEED television commentator and former NASCAR crew chief great Jeff Hammond returns as the event moderator again this year.
Among those headlining the Industry Roundtable are:
– Scooter Brothers, Director of R&D and part-owner of Competition Cams, and organizer of the
AETC, chairman of SEMA
– Robin Miller, Veteran Race Journalist, SpeedTV
– Gill Campbell, CEO & General Manager of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
– Carl Wegner, Founder of Wegner Motorsports, Oval Track Race Engine Builder
– Hugh Scully, MD, Chairman of the International Council of Motorsport Sciences
– Gray Garrison, Promoter for Bowman Gray Stadium
– Dennis Huth, President of ASA
– Ray Wilkings, General Manager of NHRA's Atlanta Dragway
“To stay successful as a racing business, you need to be aware of the latest issues and trends that the industry faces," said Steve Lewis, PRI Trade Show producer. “The Industry Roundtable offers a unique insight that can keep our attendees ahead of the game. It’s another example of how Race Industry Week allows us to provide not only the hardware to be successful, but the knowledge as well, all under one roof."
Legendary race engine builder Smokey Yunick created the Industry Roundtable as part of the PRI Trade Show to provide racing entrepreneurs a frank and open forum on key issues in racing today. In addition to the panel discussion, questions also will be taken from the attendees.
"For me, the Round Table offers challenges and opportunities to better understand what the everyday racer wants and needs," said Hammond, who won multiple championships to go along with 43 NASCAR Cup victories as a crew chief.
