NASCAR Texas TV Rating
UPDATE ESPN’s live telecast of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, Nov. 6, earned a final 'cable' 3.4 household coverage rating, averaging 4,726,000 viewers [4.846 million in 2010], according to the Nielsen Company. The rating was the same as for last year’s race, which also aired on ESPN. ESPN2’s live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Texas on Saturday, Nov. 5, earned a 1.1 household coverage rating, averaging 1,430,000 viewers. 11/07/11 ESPN earned a 2.8 overnight TV rating for the NASCAR Sprint Cup AAA Texas 500, up 3.7% from a 2.7 for the same race last year.
