Bliss Returns To TRG Motorsports For Homestead

Mike Bliss will pilot the No. 71 School Media Ford Fusion in NASCAR's season finale this weekend at Homestead-Miami, FL. Bliss is no stranger to the No. 71 team. Also jumping on board for the last race of the season, Flex-Box will be an associate sponsor on the No. 71 machine.

Oregon native, Mike Bliss, holds the highest finish in TRG Motorsports history with his 9th place run at Daytona last July. Bliss has fifteen NASCAR victories to his name, all coming in the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is known best for his 2002 championship in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

"It's great to be back racing in the Sprint Cup Series for TRG Motorsports. I'm going to give them everything I can to put this School Media Ford Fusion in the show and earn a solid finish," said Bliss.

Greg Meyer, School Media representative commented:

"We are thrilled to team up again with TRG Motorsports this weekend. As we noticed last weekend, NASCAR is a great marketing platform to introduce our business to NASCAR fans nationally and compete at the sport's highest level."

Team owner Kevin Buckler notes Bliss's reputation as a talented qualifier.

"We've worked really hard on the sponsorship side this week and we've secured School Media back for Homestead in addition to FLEX-BOX who'll be taking their first step into the NASCAR realm. On the driver side, Mike is a veteran and knows how to get it done. He is a winner and he is a champion. He is a great qualifier which is exactly what we need right now. I know he is going to give us his all this weekend and I can't ask for more than that."

Coverage of the Ford 400 begins Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
