Tagliani will not return to Sam Schmidt team

Alex Tagliani has confirmed to the French Montreal media that he will not be back with Sam Schmidt next year. Tagliani was not happy with the way Sam Schmidt was running the team in 2011 and the straw that broke the camel's back was when Schmidt put Dan Wheldon in the car for the season finale. We all know how that turned out.

Those sentiments were also those of his race engineer Allen McDonald, who left the team halfway through the season for Andretti Autosport. RDS.ca
