Hometown holiday parade will honor Tony Stewart

Tony Stewart's central Indiana hometown will celebrate his winning of a third NASCAR championship as he takes part in the city's Christmas parade. Columbus officials announced that Stewart would be a guest of honor during its annual Festival of Lights Parade that begins at 6 p.m. Saturday. Columbus held a parade in Stewart's honor in 2005 after he won that year's Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Stewart also won NASCAR championships in 2002 and 2005. Associated Press
