2011 Bentley sales up

Though most major automakers are expected to post their year-end results on Wednesday, Bentley, the ultraluxury subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, announced Tuesday that its 2011 sales exceeded 2010 levels by 37 percent. The company recorded sales of 2,021 vehicles in the United States, a 32 percent increase over 2010. China overtook Europe as the marque’s second-strongest market by volume, with 1,839 vehicles sold.
