HipLink Software will sponsor Henkelman Motorsports effort

HipLink Software, a technology leader in platform software for enterprise notification used in incident response and emergency notification, will become the primary sponsor for Henkelman Motorsports. The team will field an A/Fuel Dragster in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and at NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events in 2012 in preparation for a transition to Top Fuel in 2013.

Tuning duties will be shared by recognized Top Fuel tuner Rick Henkelman and 2011 Lucas Oil Top Alcohol Dragster championship tuner Dana Hopewell, with Garrett Bateman handling the driving duties.

“We are extremely excited to be teaming up with Henkelman Motorsports for 2012 and beyond," said Pamela LaPine, CEO of HipLink. “The level of quality players involved in this program made our selection process for sponsorship an easy one. We weighed a number of marketing vehicles for 2012 and felt that NHRA Drag Racing provided us the unique level of exposure we were looking for. Steve Strope did an incredible job readying our brand for NHRA Drag Racing, and we are already eyeing a migration to Top Fuel. We look forward to competing and to entertaining our clients and partners in this high-profile sport."
