Speed plans 100 hours of over saturation coverage from Daytona in February

The Speed channel's 100 hours of coverage from Daytona International Speedway this month will include 16 on-track events and 44 studio shows featuring 24 on-camera personalities in what amounts to an over saturation of everything NASCAR.

The network's coverage begins with four consecutive editions of NASCAR Race Hub on Feb. 13-16 and extends through the post-Daytona 500 edition of Wind Tunnel on Sunday night, Feb. 26.

Speed will televise eight NASCAR Sprint Cup practice sessions (how boring is that?) and the two Daytona 500 qualifying races on Feb. 23, plus both Budweiser Shootout practice sessions (but not the race itself – how boring is that). The network's live, on-track coverage will include the Feb. 18 ARCA race, two Camping World Truck Series practices (how boring is that?), Truck Series qualifying and the Feb. 24 Truck Series race.

Fox Sports will televise the Feb. 18 Budweiser Shootout, Daytona 500 qualifying on Feb. 19 and the Daytona 500.

ESPN and ESPN2 will handle all of the Nationwide Series coverage, including qualifying on Feb. 24 and its 300-mile race the next day.
