Barber Park announces upgrade to track amenities for IndyCar race

Less than four weeks away, the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by Legacy has several exciting changes in store for fans attending the IZOD IndyCar Series and Grand-Am Rolex Series races March 30 to April 1 at Barber Motorsports Park. Convenient public parking and a new location for Billy's Sports Grill Club are just a few of the upgrades fans will enjoy.

New this year, spectators will enjoy free on-site parking Friday and Saturday. Premium on-site parking and preferred off-site parking for Sunday is available for purchase. Complimentary spectator parking for Sunday will be conveniently located right outside of Barber Motorsports Park at the Outlet Shops of Grand River, with a shuttle transporting fans directly to the gate. Sunday on-site parking is $25 while preferred off-site parking is $10.

Additionally, the exclusive Billy's Sports Grill Club has moved to the Red Diamond Fan Zone, creating the best seats in the house for fans. Guests of Billy's Sports Grill Club will have a track-side view of six different turns of the racing circuit at Barber Motorsports Park. Inside, guests have access to Billy's famous food and a full-service bar, along with comfortable seating and LCD televisions. Billy's new location will feature a patio deck with tiered seating and umbrella tables. In addition to the racing action, there will be plenty of entertainment scheduled throughout the weekend, including live music and driver appearances from both IZOD IndyCar Series and Grand-Am Road Racing Series.

Billy's Sports Grill Club ticket prices begin at $125 and each ticket includes general admission with paddock access, convenient on-site parking in Lot E and a full-service bar with three drink tickets per day. Additionally, Billy's Sports Grill Club guests will enjoy track-side breakfast, lunch and afternoon hors d'oeuvres.

Spectators at the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama can select from a variety of tickets ranging in price from $15 to $425. As in years past, kids 12 and under receive free general admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. In addition to tickets, tent and motor home camping is available. Weekend options will also include “Fan Walks" on pit lane, an interactive Fan Zone with a Ferris wheel, autograph sessions and more.
