Motorcycle group caught at speeds up to 138 mp
Last Saturday night, Franklin, Tennessee Police clocked a pack of about 10 motorcycles on Interstate 65 northbound at speeds between 113 and 138 miles per hour, according to an incident report.
Officers got on the interstate around McEwen Drive attempted to catch up to the last motorcycle, which occurred around Moores Lane.
The motorcycle’s speed the officer caught and pulled over was 115 mph in a 70 mph speed zone and the motorcycle in front was 122 mph, according to the report. The top speed listed was 138 mph.
Channon L Wilson, 32, was the rider pulled over and stated he was part of a motorcycle club called “EOD,’’ according to the police report.
Wilson was issued misdemeanor citations for speeding, driving without a valid motorcycle license and no proof of insurance.
