Cesar Ramos to sub Richie Stanaway in team Lotus

Richie Stanaway was injured during the third event of the season at Spa-Francorchamps and his recovery is going to take at least five months. Brazilian Cesar Ramos takes the wheel of the black-n-gold car.

Starting from round four, which takes place at Nürburgring between 29th June and 1st July, Czech Lotus team is going to have a new pairing. Marco Sorensen has a new team mate in Brazilian Cesar Ramos.

Cesar Ramos already knows the environment of the World Series by Renault as he raced there last year with Fortec Motorsport. The Brazilian scored 47 points out of 17 races and finished 11th in the final standings. Ramos also got two pole positions in Motorland and Monza. However, there is a challenge of learning new car comparing to last year.

The Brazilian driver started his career in 2003 when he began with karts. Year 2007 marked his singe-seater debut in Formula Renault 2.0 and he competed in Italian and European championships. He moved up to Formula 3 in 2009 racing in Euro Series and winning prestigious Italian championship one year later.
