NASCAR Kentucky Nationwide TV rating

ESPN2’s live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway on Friday night, June 29, earned a 0.9 household coverage rating, averaging 1,153,792 viewers, according to the Nielsen Company.

Due to severe power outages in parts of the country over the weekend, ratings information for the race telecast does not include the Baltimore, Columbus, Ohio, Dayton, Ohio, Philadelphia, Richmond and Washington, D.C., markets.

The rating was down from a 1.2 for last year’s race, the first time the track had staged a Nationwide Series race on a Friday night. All previous events had been run on Saturday nights.
