Single-Day Reserved Seats Now on Sale for the Grand Prix of Baltimore
The single-day ticket availability was announced today at a news conference in downtown Baltimore featuring two of America's finest racers: Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosport, winner of three consecutive IZOD IndyCar Series races and championship point leader, and Tommy Milner of Team Corvette, who currently leads the GT championship category in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron.
Tickets can be purchased and race information can be found at the official event website: http://www.RaceOnBaltimore.com or through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 800-745-3000.
Fans can also buy three-day ticket packages, general admission tickets and paddock passes that allow up-close access to see the IndyCar teams at work inside the Baltimore Convention Center. The 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore is being operated by locally owned Race On LLC, and is being promoted by Andretti Sports Marketing.
Car Corral Experience
Auto enthusiasts can now reserve a two-day Car Corral Experience for $100, which allows them exclusive parking and other benefits adjacent to the ALMS paddock area. Car enthusiasts can choose to park in the Corvette Corral or the Porsche Platz. Car Corral passes are valid for parking Friday, Aug. 31 and Saturday, Sept. 1, and do not include admission tickets or on-track access.
VIP Terrace Club Packages
Race fans interested in the ultimate VIP Terrace Club experience can now purchase three-day packages for $895 per person. The package includes seating inside the Baltimore Convention Center, plus Saturday and Sunday reserved grandstand seating along the front straightaway, weekend paddock pass and Friday general admission seating. The VIP Terrace Club ticket includes food and beverage each day, with beer and wine tickets included. (Cash bar will also be available.)
Schedule of Events
On-track activities will begin each day at approximately 8 am.
Friday, Aug. 31 will feature practice and qualifying for the IZOD IndyCar Series, American Le Mans Series, Firestone Indy Lights, Star Mazda and USF2000 series.
Saturday, Sept. 1 will be highlighted by an endurance race for the American Le Mans Series, plus qualifying for the IndyCar Series and Indy Lights, and a race for the USF2000 category. The American Le Mans Series race will be seen on ABC-TV.
Sunday, Sept. 2 will feature the IZOD IndyCar Series race, plus races for Indy Lights and Star Mazda. The IZOD IndyCar Series race will be seen live on the NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus).
