German GP: Alonso tops final practice

Fernando Alonso turned the quickest lap at Hockenheim in his Ferrari before late rains came, ending final practice with a best lap of 1m16.014s, ahead of McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Sauber's Sergio Perez.
Kimi Raikkonen is fourth for Lotus, followed by the Red Bulls of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel, then Pastor Maldonado, Felipe Massa and Kamui Kobayashi.
Bruno Senna rounded out the top 10.
German favorite Michael Schumacher was only 15th, and his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg 17th while Jenson Button last a dreadful 24th. The trio waited until the end to put in a quick lap but got caught out by the rain.
Monsoon like rain is expected for qualifying.
