The track is a 2.52-mile road course nestled in the beautiful Sonoma Wine Country. In 2005, Kanaan claimed the inaugural victory when IndyCar returned to Sonoma Valley after a 35-year hiatus. With a previous win at Sonoma on his record, Kanaan is sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats this year as he races for another win.

“We are getting so close to another win," states Kanaan. “We are still in the championship hunt. We just have to keep producing good results. Hopefully we get a win very soon."

The champion driver has logged seven Top 6 finishes so far this season, including three Top 3 showings – a season-high 2nd place at Milwaukee and two outstanding 3rd place finishes at Iowa and the historic Indianapolis 500. He now holds on to 7th place in the championship point standings.
